Terms & Conditions

A deposit is required to confirm a booking.  The deposit is non-refundable.

A further payment is required 28 days prior to the event.

The remaining balance will be invoiced and require settlement within 14 days from the date of the invoice.  An interest rate of 1% will be added per 14 day period on all overdue or unpaid invoices.

Final numbers, which will be the minimum you will be charged for, are required 7 days prior to the event, should the number of guests reduce we will still charge for the original final number provided, however should your numbers increase the final invoice will reflect this.

Final numbers and details of vegetarians and special dietary requirements are also required 7 days prior to your event.

A tasting is available to be carried out at my unit, for this there is a charge of £75.00 plus the cost of ingredients.  A tasting would consist of, for example, 4 canapés, 2 main courses and 1 pudding or a similar variation of these choices.  

One site visit by myself and my front of house will be free of charge, this is usually necessary between two and five days prior to the event.  Should other meetings be required there will be a charge of £35.00 per visit.

In the unlikely event of extreme changes in market prices, we may have to advise of a variance to our original estimate.

All estimated costs for your event are exclusive of vat at 20.0%, this will be added to your final invoice.

Written confirmation of any changes will be required from both parties either by post or email.

Throughout the event, when the Sarah Healy Catering team are on site guests are not permitted into the catering tent areas, not only is this potentially dangerous for both parties but Sarah Healy Catering insurance will be invalidated.

Excessive damage and breakages to china, glass and linen may be charged at cost price.

The Sarah Healy Catering team do not take responsibility for the activities resulting from alcohol consumption of guests under or over the age of 18.


If the event is cancelled between 14 and 28 days prior to the date it is due to take place half the cost of the total estimate may be due from you.  

If the event is cancelled 14 days or less prior to the date it is due to take place the full cost of the estimate may be due from you.

The cancellation charges are to cover administration costs surrounding the booking, loss of profit for the day and any commitments and payments to suppliers that have already been made on your behalf.
